Description
The Alpine Playhouse is the largest of all our Playhouses. Internally it has a loft to the high side with a ladder & safety rail. An ideal place for your Child’s tea parties with their friends. This makes a wonderful long lasting addition to gardens, nursery’s, day care centres and schools alike. A small side door can be added as an optional extra. Sizes Available 8’ x 6’+2ft veranda making 8’x8′ or 10’ x 6’ +2′ Veranda making 10’x8′
FLOOR
The Alpine Playhouse comes with (Ex 15mm) 12mm finished tongued & groove matching on 47mm x 47mm pressure treated joists with a pressure treated deck board floor on the veranda
ROOF
All buildings come with (Ex 15mm) 12mm finished tongue & groove matching on 47mm x 47mm roof purlins. A Heavy Duty Polyester based roofing felt is used as standard on all buildings. On all of our buildings there is a ventilation gap along the back of the roof.
WALLS
All buildings have (Ex 15mm) 12mm finished tongue & groove Scandinavian Redwood shiplap fixed to 47mm x 22mm & 47mm x 47mm finished framework. All of our buildings are made from wood from sustainable sources.
DOORS
The Alpine Playhouse features a door with a piano hinge for safety.
WINDOWS
The Alpine comes with fixed windows in the panels either side of the door, these are glazed with high quality clear Perspex.
HEIGHTS
It is 3’6” high at the low side, 5’7” high on the high side & 7’6” high at the ridge.
TREATMENT
Our buildings are treated both internally & externally with a spirit based preservative that helps to protect the timber from fungi, woodworm & blue stain. We do recommend that buildings are retreated within 3 months and then every year for continuous protection.
