Description
The Euro is a garden building in the Chalet style, with a 0.38m (15″) roof canopy to the front, standard log lap and a window box. This building can be completely customised, so if you need different dimensions or layouts please let us know.
FLOOR
Buildings with depths and widths less than 8ft shall have (Ex 15mm) 12mm finished tongue and groove matching fitted to 47mm x 47mm pressure treated floor joists. Heavy heavy V313 Caber board flooring is used instead of matching in buildings above 8ft in both depth and width.
ROOF
All buildings come with (Ex 15mm) 12mm finished tongue and groove matching on 47mm x 47mm & 47mm x 22mm finished roof purlins, although some larger buildings will have these purlins upgraded where necessary. We use a Heavy Duty Polyester based roofing felt is used as standard on all our buildings. On all of our buildings there is a ventilation gap along the back of the roof.
WALLS
All buildings have (Ex 19mm) 15mm finished tongue & groove Scandinavian Redwood log lap from sustainable sources fixed to 47mm x 47mm & 47mm x 22mm finished framework.
DOORS
All buildings feature a 0.76m (30”) by 1.82m (72”) tall wide box framed single door which can be left or right hand hinged.
Fitted with a mortice lock & handle
Upgrades available, 3ft wide, stable or half glass door.
WINDOWS
The Euro chalet comes with one fixed Georgian style window evenly spaced between the edge of the door and the outside of the building, glazed in 3mm safety glass.
Smaller buildings will come with a 6 pane window and larger buildings come with a 9 pane window glazed in 3mm safety glass.
HEIGHTS
The Euro also has an internal eaves height of 1.82m (6’) and an internal ridge height of:
2.06m (81”) on 7’ & 8’ Gable ends
2.13m (84”) on 9’ Gable ends
2.18m (86”) on 10’ & 11’ Gable ends
2.31m (91”) on 12’ Gable ends
Please add an extra 7” on to these heights for the external dimension.
All standard buildings comply with the 2.5m maximum height restriction imposed when erecting a building under Permitted Development.
TREATMENT
We treat our buildings both internally and externally with a spirit based preservative.
